Eat Like a Local is a campaign developed for DoorDash around the FIFA World Cup in the U.S. The idea positions DoorDash as a cultural connector — bringing the world’s menu to your door by spotlighting neighborhood restaurants serving global cuisines. The campaign taps into the shared energy of the World Cup, where countries compete and communities gather. Instead of traveling abroad, fans can “eat like a local” by ordering from featured restaurants representing flavors from around the world, all delivered from kitchens in their own city.
